Dieter's Chocolate Milkshake Recipe


Dieter's Chocolate Milkshake

1 Cup skim or 1 % milk
1 - 1 1/2 cups ice cubes
2 TBSP Jello Instant Chocolate Sugar Free pudding mix powder
Optional: 2 TBSP Sugar Free Torani Syrup flavoring (I like the Hazelnut, but any SF flavor is fine)

Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until all of the ice cubes are smooth.
Makes about 16oz. and it is pretty darn good. It's the perfect thing when you crave something sweet or chocolatey.

A couple of options are to use some fresh strawberries and vanilla puddin mix instead of chocolate. Another option is to use lemon pudding mix instead and add some fresh blueberries.

Not a day to sew

Gosh I thought every day is a day to sew. Nope. Some days I just struggle when I use my machine. It's my fault, not the machine's. Definitely a user issue.

I keep trying to focus on what needs to be done today, and I just can't. My friend janet says it is the diet messing with my head. Maybe she's right.

I have lost 6 pounds in one week and still going. Maybe I lost brain cells along with the fat this week? Trouble is, brain cells don't weigh anything.

So I am down 6 pounds. That is the good news for sure.
I have my spring designs completely quilted. They need binding still.
And the instructions are still in process but I feel good about it.

Since I gave up on sewing for the night, I am going to post a recipe for a chocolate milkshake a dieter can have!

In honor of.....Counting Calories


So in honor (horror) of counting calories, I changed the background of my blog to cupcakes. I can't eat them, so why not look at them!


Went to the doctor, the doctor said......"Can you lose 15 pounds by March?"

I said **Blink**Blink** "uh, I can try!"


So I am trying to lose 15 pounds by the beginning of March. Keep in mind when he said this, it was December 4th! I began last week. Sound familiar?


I don't officially weigh in again until Wednesday. I will keep you posted....
