Spring activities are beginning again around here. My kids are in softball and had the first practice Saturday. It finished right before the rain and snow came. We got about 5" of snow on Saturday and few more Sunday morning. The snow has all melted off now-- that is another thing I love about spring here. When it snows, the snow does not stay long after-and sometimes if you wait a few hours you don't have to shovel it because it is all gone!.
It is sunny again and the birds are chirping. I want these skates back! They are just like the ones I wore when I was 11!

rollerskating may be big here this spring because my oldest wants the "old fashioned kind of skate" like her mom and aunt Kelley had. I will of course need some too--skating is fun and great exercise!
Gardening-we love to plant, but hate weeds!

I like to go "junking" at thrift shops and yard sales
smell the blossoms and pick the flowers
take long walks and long drives
And I personally, spend all spring getting ready for Market-the kids help with that too!

One of my favorite spring activities is to watch the animals (deer, blue birds, robins) and check if seeds planted have germinated.
I love spring. My favorite thing to do in the spring is get my front porch all cleaned up, spruced up with clean, fresh cushions on the rocking chairs and swing and wicker sofa, sparkling front door glass decorated with a floral wreath and fresh geraniums, petunias and ferns in all my hanging baskets. This year I'm adding an antique fountain, a big one, so I will have the soothing sound of big drops of water plopping down into the bigger pool below. I can sit outside until well into October usually and sew and knit and just enjoy being outdoors! I do subscribe to your blog via google and get all the updates right on my front page. Gives me so much inspiration!

Not really a specific activity, but one of my favorite things about Spring is that I get to open the windows! I live in Texas, so most of the year you want to keep the windows closed to escape from the icky weather.
Spring breezes coming through open windows make me want to do something, work on a quilt, clean the living room, even load the dishwasher... it's hard to veg out on the couch :)
My favorite spring activity is grilling! I can't wait for some really good burgers and grilled veggies! Then I love to eat outside on the deck and feeling the warm sunshine. Sounds like a perfect day!

I blog no give-aways due to the following: I think it's got some kind of more visitors and thus are better there. But I myself would like people to my blog which is for the things I do interesting. So more quality than quantity.
Ebenaso I am not a follower, because I want to be free to visit his blogs that I like. So I'm often here. But I would like to visit because I like it and not because I have verflichtet me. I see it as a kind of contest to see who has the most successor. What good is it if they register for the give-away, and then log off again afterwards?

A couple of my favorite spring activities are sitting on the porch in the morning, sipping my coffee or tea, just watching nature do its thing. Its amazing how peaceful it can be. When the weather cooperates, I have been enjoying some quiet, alone time on the motorcycle on the back country roads, its an amazing, free feeling!
Hi Kari! I love to open all the windows and air out the house, and finally getting to walk more outside! I had to wait for a couple of days - but the snow did melt off the driveway :) Our north facing front yard is slow to melt :(

in spring, I love to sit in the sunshine and plan out my garden- I live in the north- we won't be planting anything much for at least a couple of months! I also love to watch the kids on their scooters... it's fun to see them out on the driveway when there is still snow on the ground!
Hmmmm.....my favorite spring activity would be decorating the porch. I take off the covers from the furniture, arrange things the way I want them, hand a quilt, add some plants...and voila....we are ready to enjoy the fresh air.

My favorite spring activity is washing the sheets so I an hang them out on the line to dry! The first night I sleep in line-dried sheets I dream of running in poppy fields. Happens every time!

Even though it is Autumn here I remember my favourite (favorite)spring activity when we lived in the US. It was going for a walk and watching everything come to life. I loved it. It does not get cold enough here to have real seasons which is nice but I will miss the spring.

I actually enjoy cleaning the house and getting it all "fresh". I've always enjoyed planting the flower and vegetable garden but we haven't been able to do that in a bit.
When I was young, I used to love to fly kites. I haven't done that in a bit with the kids lately either. I guess I just gave myself a reality check :)
I can't wait to hang laundry!!!! I just love that; today was the first day I was able to do this...hung out two loads..feels so good! Next best thing is sitting on the porch swing reading a good book.

We dont have spring in my part of the world but I certainly loved reading the comments of everyone else's favourite spring activity. Cleaning the house from top to toe goes high up on the list!
I love picnics with my kids at some of our local parks. It's especially nice when public school is in session (we homechool) and it's almost as if we have the parks to ourselves.

well, here in the southern hemisphere we are in autumn, which is also a wonderful time, harvest time here with plums and apples galore;

We are currently stationed in Germany and I can feel Spring coming. I just can't wait to get out of the house and onto the playground. My four year old is climbing the walls and so am I. So, I guess my favorite thing to do is just be in the sun finally. Sad, but true.

After all the winter's rains are gone, I LOVE the spring sunshine and just standing in it's path and feel the warmth. Activity wise, nothing special except spending more time outside than in.

Spring means maple syrup to me. I love the smell as it boils, the roar of the fire, the sounds of the sap dripping in the buckets and even the enormous amount of work involved. I have happy memories of when my kids were little and had to sleep in the sugar house because we couldn't leave the cabin while boiling.
I also love to hear the birds as they return from the south!

Such an easy question...my absolute favorite spring activity is watching the ice go off the lake. For the first four years I lived on the lake, I was working and never got to view the transformation, but now that I am retired, it is a ritual that we watch the action. It is literally the change of season for me.

My roller skating days are over- it was great when I lived at the beach but roller skater vs. deers in the mountains does not work out so well! My favorite thing to do in the spring is watch my grass turn green. i know, it's not much of an activity but I sure look forward to seeing the green pop up. I am so anal with the lawn... I also like to quilt spring quilts! lol!
My fave spring activity is actually to sow, plant and rearrange in my garden. In the evening to have a bbq on the patio. Love to hang around my house...

I love spring when the snow is all melted, and the street sweepers have been around. Everything is all clean and fresh (and the driving is easier)!

One of my favorite spring activities in roller blading. I also enjoy taking my kids out walking. They seem so happy to escape into the sun after the long winter!
