I need suggestions, offering bribes etc

So I love the ideas and I am considering them all, there are a few I like in particular and got me thinking. So I will decide soon and let you all know!

I have agreed to do yet another quilt along online. I am sure of it now. I must be crazy. I barely have enough time to do everything for my family and my business let alone, sew for fun for me!

I am also doing the following BOM (block of the months) and quilt alongs:
Jelly Roll Sampler (I am designing a block I thought I should participate)
Snowbound by Bunny Hill (my guild is doing this one so I thought I would/should)
Quilt Etc BOM (local shop I teach at- I do this BOM every year)
Wild Rose BOM by Marti Michell (a local shop is doing this one- the link is for an online version- this quilt will go on my guest room bed eventually)
Sandy Stitchers Guild BOM (I have to create one at some point again- still debating the theme)
Dresden Plate for guild- (this has to be unique to me, an original design using at least 4 Dresden plates in the design and is due finished September 1st for a contest)
A year of Schnibbles - love the Schnibbles quilts and I own so many of the patterns already

Well hey, I just pulled off a great family sit- down dinner with my husbands clan yesterday, while trying to get this book done, do photography, editing, writing, sewing, cleaning the house which looked like a tornado hit, get the kids to softball practices/games, and everything else. I can handle one more thing right? OF COURSE I CAN!

So what should the theme of my next BOM be? (my first will be published and for sale in May)Any suggestions? Leave a comment with your thoughts and ideas and if I like your idea the most- I might just use it or some version of it. In which case you would have my undying loyalty, and I would send you a wonderful thank you gift! BTW- I am thinking of doing this as a FREE BOM to everyone in blog-land along with my guild, then it will get published at the end of the year.

Hi there - I just found your blog today and as I am doing something with circles at the moment the idea for a BOM came to me. I'm thinking "what goes around, comes around" maybe some simple curved pieced blocks. Just a suggestion ! Have a lovely day xxx

How about "Stop and Smell the Roses" with flowers in each block...because when you're so busy you need to remember to do things for yourself?!

I was thinking a floral theme, too--particularly wedding flowers. LOL! Could you have it ready to start in June, with a May finish, just in time for June brides! LOL! Maybe a combo of pieced blocks with applique? Good luck! I'm doing the Hexagon-Quilt-Along, too ... should be fun! :)

How about STARS? There are several pinwheel quilt alongs, hexagons, lots of the stitchery boms are baskets, flowers or snowmen. There are so many wonderful star blocks out there and with the Fourth of July out there it would be very timely... Also appropriate for a quilt along ending at Christmas, too!

Can't wait to see what you decide!

Fun idea... we could all use another BOM to do!!! How about Seaside Cottages as a theme. I always picture wonderful flowers outside of beach houses. Although I like some of the other ideas already mentioned.

I love making yo-yo's (the old fashioned way) so how about a Yo-Yo Crazy BOM! You could use yo-yo's in different ways on traditional blocks ;-)

I would like to do a BOM based on the 12 days of Christmas. I haven't seen one online yet so maybe others would like to work on this too.

My first thought was star blocks but I see that has been suggested. I also like the flowers and yo-yo ideas. What about a monthly birdhouse and bird? Each month would have a different birdhouse with a different bird within the block.

Maybe a 12 month calendar type block. Each month would be based on what is special for that month. No snowmen or angels that carry through each month but a different block design each month.

My kids would probably like a year of animals...

As the mom of all boys, I always notice that there is NO shortage of all things girly. How about something boy driven? Trucks, trains, planes, that kind of thing. Or something masculine that would be good to give a son/grandson/nephew etc. for their high school graduation that they could take to college with them.

Gosh you are busy. I am exhausted and may need a nap, after reading your list. LOL!

Theme, theme, theme???? What about a mystery quilt? An applique quilt with a different purse or shoes in each block (can never have enough purses or shoes). Or, Charmed Star (http://tinyurl.com/y9fknf4) Ultimately, what ever you decide will be fun!

I haven't joined in one this year, I thought I had enough on my plate- honey, you must eat from a platter, too! I want to try some strips into hexagon something. I'll be peeking in, you have enough good ideas listed here to keep you swimming!

What about using two styles of blocks....a square in a square in a square with two solids surrounding a floral block....and a grandmas flower garden style block with a solid center and two other prints of the same family around it.... "Granddaughters Flower Garden"

Stars! I'd love to make some stars, and I see several other people have suggested this as well. It would be lovely if you did this as a free BOM. I'm doing the Jelly Roll QA and the Pinwheel Sampler QA and am enjoying both so very much! I was just thinking today that I need to hunt up another BOM!

how about a teddy bears picnic one, or nursery rhyme, as Alice in Wonderland is popular maybe one on that theme.
