I was informed about this little giveaway and it sounds like something I want-- even if I don't win, I may have to find this book and buy it. Yes I entered it too. So over on the Niki's Book Reviews blog she has done a review on a book about COOKIES! Be still my heart. I love to eat and to bake cookies, so I read it and entered it. I love anything to do with quilting, would be thrilled to have another site with project ideas.
I like keeping up with the newest designers, fabrics, patterns, etc. Looks like Patchwork Posse fills the bill!
Getting to know other people that are as excited about quilting and crafts would bring joy to my life!

I think the membership would be great because as a relatively new quilter, there are a lot of techniques and projects that I don't know about or am too intimidated to try. I think this might help encourage me to try more new things.

This is a new-to-me concept. I like the idea of receiving regular quilting BOM, quilty interviews, patterns, etc. without paying by-the-block for fabrics to an online quilt shop...and the variety of activities included gives options. I've just discovered Patchwork Posse...came across the row robin at round 4 Thanksgiving week and loved it so much I have caught up - waiting for the next round!!
I am a "lapsed" quilter? For the last few years I've hardly touched my sewing machine but Oct 6th I decided to tackle some UFOs. This week I'm working on one from a 6 series McCall's mag - from 1998!
I would love to continue my renewed friendship with the quilting world. It's pretty amazing what they share online. You don't have to drive to meetings in the dark!
